Nomade Aventure is a French tour operator specialized in "adventure travel” since its creation in 1975. Each year, 10 000 to 12 000 customers travel with us in a year.
As the years went by, the range of trips (nearly a thousand) and destinations (over a hundred active) widened significantly. Today, Nomade Aventure stands out from its counterparts with its “local color” trips, offering typical or homestay accommodations and using local transportation. We want to offer our customers an authentic experience off the beaten paths. Indeed, our trips offering was described as “original and inventive” by the magazine Grands Reportages, which granted the “Best Adventure Travel of the Year 2018” Award to Nomade, for its “Sulawesi : the expedition!”. At Nomade Aventure, adventure comes in all conceivable shapes and never misses an interesting destination (even little known ones like Zimbabwe, the Philippines, Azerbaijan, El Salvador, etc.) and is practiced in small groups, or individually and 100% tailor-made.
Nomade Aventure also undertakes to respect the environmental, social and economical aspects of sustainable tourism and is an active member of the French association ATR (“Act for Responsible Tourism”). An audit made by an independent institute takes place once a year to verify that we fulfill our commitments. Furthermore, we ceaselessly endeavor to limit the negative impacts of our trips and to take action for environmental preservation and human development. Indeed, Nomade Aventure supports Naturevolution, an NGO implementing environmental and social initiatives in the Makay (Madagascar) and Sulawesi (Indonesia). Regarding CO2 emissions, we were already offsetting 100% of the flights emissions of our employees before the decision to offset 100% of our customers’ flights emissions.
